Most of us have had
those days when we wished a delicious & nutritious meal would magically
appear on our doorstep – just in time for dinner. Well, now we have the opportunity to do just that for Brandon
& Susan. We are hoping to
provide dinners for them on Monday, Wednesday & Friday evenings.
We would like to begin this Monday, October 20.
We have two goals:
The first is to keep
Brandon’s immune system as strong as possible throughout his treatments and to
help him fight and beat this cancer. We
hope to do that by providing him with a diet rich in foods that have been grown
or raised organically…vegetables, whole grains, nuts, fruits, soy products,
certain types of fish, and free-range skinless chicken.
The idea is to keep the meals free from pesticides, drugs, hormones,
white sugar and refined white flour products.
The farmer’s market is a great place to find organic produce at lower
prices. Brandon has no food
allergies.
The second goal
is simply to help Brandon & Susan. Being
a cancer patient requires a lot of strength, courage and faith.
By providing healthy meals, we give them the time to focus on what needs
to be done each day…getting Brandon well.
